Birch Pool Free Tackle Hire
As part of your carp fishing package at Birch Pool retreat you have full access to the below fishing tackle. We will provide everything required other than terminal tackle, reels and alarms. Bait and groundbait are also provided at an additional cost.
Two Bivvies (one and Two man)
When you arrive at Birch Pool Retreat there will be two Bivvies set up on the island ready for you to use. You are more than welcome to bring an additional Bivvy to use elsewhere on the lake but for most of our guests fishing from the Island is the best spot as you can reach 100% of the lake from one spot. Our Bivvies’ are new for the 2022 season and are in perfect condition.
Carp Cradle
Carp care is a main priority at our Lake and carp cradles are to be used at all times when landing/unhooking one of our beautiful carp.
Carp Weigh sling
As above we provide a number of carp weigh slings to ensure all carp are safely removed, weighed and returned to the water
The PB Hat
An important piece of fishery equipment, celebrate all PB’s with our PB hat and get a photo on our website and Facebook page.
3 Bed Chairs
We have three bed chairs on site for you to use when fishing in the Bivvy’s. If the weather takes a turn for the worse there are a further 4 beds in the lakeside lodge.
6 carp rods available
We provide 6 10lb 3.5lb test curve carp rods which will be ready to set up on arrival. These are new to the 2022 season. Please take care to look after the rods so they can be used by other anglers during the season and beyond. Please note if you want a dedicated Spod Rod it can be arranged ask for details..
