A premium exclusive hire lake

Set in breathtaking surroundings this thoughtfully stocked 3 acre lake is totally secluded for a perfect get away from it all fishing holiday. With Carp now over the 60lbs mark and growing, our expectations for this year is for Birch Pool Retreat to be the premier exclusive hire lake.

Birch Pool Retreat also has some specimen roach and other silver fish for our guests that enjoy all aspects of fishing.

Lake side lodge sleeps 6

The lakeside lodge has a double bedroom and a bedroom with single bunkbeds and there is a double bed settee in the lounge area, the kitchen area is equipped with everything you need and there is a full size cooker and a fridge to keep your beers and wine cool. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, shower and sink.

The Limousin is well know for it’s gastronomy and there is an amazing restaurant close to the lake to suit all budgets. A maximum of 6 Carp rods fishing at any one time ensures safety to our fish and means their growth
rate increases.

Carp over 60lb

We take great pride in our carp with the average being just over the 40lb mark. The biggest carp “knuckles” is over 60lb and we have a range of Grass, common and Mirror carp all over 30lb. There are a few Carp between 20 and 30lb but when you get a bite you can be confident its going to be a decent fish!

The lake is also stocked with some Catfish but these are kept primarily to improve the ecosystem along with a couple of large Pike.
